Plot[edit]
The story revolves around six very important characters who are firm believers of the religion they comprehend their ways. The film rolls to establish a very peaceful and loving middle class Muslim family where Kabir is a 23 year old boy, who is in the state of getting convinced that the only way to prove himself to be a True Muslim is by changing his perspectives and deeds. Hina, a woman with affirmed views & leanings toward religion, Jihad and its attainment by all means. Hina manipulates Kabir by trapping him in her love and using Kabir for her purpose of purifying the infidelity and saving the Muslim clan.
On the contrary, Pesh Imam who is the father of Kabir shows a different side of being a religion lover. He keeps imposing his love for the teachings of Quran in a way which is liberal and unorthodox which keeps hurting Kabir & his counterparts who think being a Muslim is a responsibility. Irfan is another such counterpart who is the brother of Hina and an important leader of a terrorist group. The movie flows in a direction where Kabir, Hina, Pesh Imam & Irfan all end up being a part of one game, that is, Jihad. Pesh Imam keeps contradicting Kabir subtly but Kabir goes on believing that Jihad is the ultimate path for true Muslim. The parallel story running is of Rabia Zadi, an atheist woman of charisma who keeps on defending fearlessly the belief off-curtaining religion to be just a roar of devastation. Avinash being a staunch believer that all Muslims are to be blamed for all the mishaps in the country drives against Pesh Imam who tries to establish liberalism in many parts of the film. Avinash is a chauvinist, who brings in discomfort of mentality and domination throughout the film establishing the country's best security failing to be authentic in the condition of justifying truth. Pesh Imam been shot dead by two unknown men. Kabir is lashed to numbness where he is left to contemplate between right and wrong.
The film further moves on the track where Avinash Handu , a Senior Police Officer is working through the case of terrorist attack and security for a seminar where all the religious, atheist and the terrorists meet up to change the feel of the movie. Rabia's speech in the seminar and Pesh Imam's message of love, hope and liberalism leaves him restless. Where Kabir is all decked for the real show becoming the suicide bomber ready to blast off the city, the words of his father and seminar leave him reaching his home where all the terrorists are hiding and waiting for their success. The last scene depicts the uneasiness of the ambiance; the victimization and the anxiety of what will Kabir choose to do. He ends up choosing liberation of himself and the motives of the terrorists by saving the crowd and bombing his fellow terrorists. The movie ends up with a sense of dismay, loss of the misguided youth and police taking up the credit for devouring the plans of the terrorists.
This will leave the audience thinking and wondering, Let we take a call to empower and educate our young ones, the liberalized way, that they choose humanity and individuality over their belongingness toward their religion and clan; we all will fail as teachers, lawyers, defenders and countrymen as a whole.
