Fleurieu Folk Festival
The Fleurieu Folk Festival is an Australian music festival held every October in the town of Willunga South Australia, on the Fleurieu Peninsula[1]. The festival program features a variety of music genres such as traditional and English folk, acoustic, acappella, Celtic, blues, roots, bluegrass and Americana.
The festival takes place over three nights and two days (Friday to Sunday) and includes several covered venues, food and craft stalls, a festival bar, on-site camping and facilities, a dance stage, a children’s festival, and areas for music enthusiasts to play together.
The festival has twice has twice (2014 and 2016) been named Community Event of the Year in the City of Onkaparinga's 2014 and 2016 Australia Day Awards.[2]
