Forget Your Friends is a Post Newgaze band from Taft, California.

History

Forget Your Friends formed in the spring of 2012 with members Pony Curtis & J Peters, later adding singer/guitar player Charlie Kennedy and drummer Adam Jackson in 2014 & 2016. FYF has released one album, two ep's and one single on OKTO Records.

The band has shared the stage with such acts as Neck Deep, Hathorne Heights, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Dance Gavin Dance, Memphis May Fire, Never Shout Never, Silverstein, The Ataris, He Is Legand, I See Stars & Michael Graves.

In the Spring of 2017 Forget Your Friends took part in the first Skullcandy Stay Loud Showdown and won a spot on the Vans Warped Tour, they are the only "Newgaze" band to ever play the tour.

Their latest album Spells was produced by Alan Day of the band Four Year Strong and was released in December of 2017.
