Freedom Jacob Caesar[edit]

Freedom Jacob Caesar, also known as Nana Kwame Bediako, is a Ghanaian property developer, philanthropist, and visionary, known for developing landmarks throughout the skyline Accra, Ghana. Freedom is the Founder and CEO of Wonda World Estates and Petronia City.

Early Life , Education and Career[edit]

Freedom was born on 13th February 1980 to Ghanaian parents and studied at Waltham Forest and the Westminster University in London, England. Although raised in the UK, he credits the different areas that he visited and learnt from each location, saying that he “studied from nature more so than school”.

Whilst studying, Freedom traded scrap steel and telecommunications material, which led to him making his first £1 million. He claims to always just follow his intuition and had developed the skill of multiplying his resources from a young age. In 2001, at the age of 21, Freedom returned to Ghana to build Wonda World Estates.

In 2015, Freedom launched a $4 billion project, Petronia City. This 2000-acre city development project provided the first fully integrated business hub for West Africa’s Oil, Gas and Mining industries. “Wonda World Estate and Petronia City”[edit]

Wonda World Estates is a Ghanaian residential property developer based in Accra. Operating across West Africa, Wonda World Estates has been positioned as one of the most significant real estate developments in Ghana, working with experts globally throughout all stages of the development process, including architecture, engineering, and construction.

Wonda World Estates address the challenges of ‘the New Africa’, which desires to maintain the African identity whilst improving the resources and infrastructures.

Wonda World has established its position by launching several mainstream projects in commercial and residential real estate development throughout Ghana and the West African region. The company has developed over 400 properties, Including Kwarleyz Residence, The Vyn Yard, and several other prestigious property ventures. The CEO and Founder of Wonda World Estates “Freedom Jacob Caesar”(LINK TO WIKI PAGE) have also built his home via Wonda World, creating one of the World's most luxurious homes.

Petronia City was created primarily to address the infrastructure gap in the Western Region following the 2007 oil discovery and subsequent increase in social and economic activity in the region. Petronia City aims to cater to the needs of the oil and gas, mining, financial and government sectors and will provide a hub from which companies can expand into the sub-region and beyond.

Philanthropy[edit]

Freedom adhered to his social responsibilities by establishing The New Africa Foundation, a non-profit organisation through which he gives back to the community. The New Africa Foundation empowers the next generation of African leaders by identifying, cultivating and nurturing outstanding talent among the youth of Ghana and Africa at large. Freedom empowers the new generation of African leaders through this initiative by promoting the Feed 10k Children program and providing free or affordable housing opportunities for low-income families.

Freedom doesn’t speak a lot about his giving, “Giving is giving. Not to be spoken about.” but he stresses the importance of ‘sensible giving’. Often what we give can go to waste, if done so incorrectly. As much as giving money to people directly can be useful, building and creating things for them can be a lot more effective. Hence, he invested within Ghanaian education system, to allow 3000 students to get an education and homeless projects in America.

The Freedom Movement[edit]

Freedom has brought hope and change to the continent of Africa through unity, education, cooperation, infrastructure, development, and investment.

His goal is ‘To build a unified African Continent and bridge the divide between Africa and the Western world. “For the continent of Africa to come of age and have a booming influential voice on the geo-political stage we must be united.”

He is interested in rebuilding nations, culture and to revive and rebuild the continent of Africa. Freedom is often remembered due to the time he has spent with people. His social investment, knowledge that he has shared and the example he has left behind, has been great stepping stones for those who look up to him. His goal is for his ‘absence to be felt, even when he is not there’

He is a great ambassador for developing your own country and the mindset of the generation; allowing people to adapt to and replicate those examples. Ghana, and Africa as a whole, should come to mind when one thinks of wealth and a flourishing community.

Those images should not only be connected to America, Dubai and other ‘typically wealthy’ nations.
