Gari Glayser Tenor

Gari Glaysher is a Tenor. He is a trained opera singer, singing the lead tenor roles in Carmen, La Boheme, La Traviata, Tosca and many more. Ha has also sang many of the romantic leads in the musical theatre world and Gilbert & Sullivan, shows such as West Side Story, Carousel, Godspell, Guys & Dolls, Pirates of Penzance, Mikado, Trial by Jury, The Sorcerer, H.M.S Pinafore, Yeoman of the gaurd, Iolanthe, Ruddigore and The Gondoliers. From around 2007 his career took a turn towards the Classical/Crossover world and after being offered songs to record from composer singer/songwriter Andrea Bellentani and Christina Pavarotti Glaysher then started his recording career. Glaysher's debut album "Serenata" contained two of Bellentani/Pavarotti songs and had a little success. This soon lead to his second album project "Somewhere", where he co wrote two songs. One in collaboration with talented guitarist and songwriter Tony Lowe and another with multitalented musician Paul Sterling Taylor. Both albums where considered Classical/Crossover as was the third "Come What May" but this album was mainly musical theatre. Glaysher's fourth album meant going back to what he was trained to sing at that was opera, he recorded all his favourite aria's on the album "Full Circle". Glaysher's recording career then took another turn with his next two albums, as he broke from all of what he had sung before. The fith album called "It Is Well With My Soul" was a collection of Gosple, Hymn's and Christian songs and the sixth and latest album is a colection of Irish songs called "The Parting Glass", the title track was recorded as a duet with harpist and singer Hattie Webb, two other songs from the album "Carrickfergus and "Wild Mountain Thyme" were recorded with singer Hayley Griffiths. Glaysher has just released his debut single a cover of the Ed Sheeran song "Perfect Symphony".
