Garissone Innocent (born 16 April 2000) is a French professional footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain.[3]

Club career[edit]

Having France and Haiti citizenship,[4] Innocent joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2015.[2] He made no appearances in the 2015-16 season, but first appeared as an unused substitute on 14 September 2016 in a 0-0 draw against Arsenal in the UEFA Youth League in the 2016-17 season.[5] He appeared again as an unused substitute 14 days later in an 8-1 match against Ludogorets U19.[6] He appeared on the bench for an additional 2 times for the 2016–17 Championnat de France Amateur season, one against FC Chartres and one against Trélissac FC.[7][8] Mainly wearing the number 16 jersey, his appearances were limited by Descamps, Cibois and Léonard Aggoune.

In the 2017-18 season, he appeared on the substitutes bench 9 times, each wearing the number 16 jersey. In the 2018-19 season, he started in 8 matches and received 2 yellow cards for the PSG youth team while having a professional contract.[3]

Innocent signed a senior contract on 30 May 2018 until 30 June 2023 and was given the number 40 jersey.[4][2] He appeared in 4 club friendlies against Sydney FC, Internazionale, 1. FC Nürnberg and Dynamo Dresden. On 10 November 2019, he first appeared as an unused substitute in a 2-1 win against Stade Brestois 29 due to an injury from first-choice Keylor Navas.[9][10]
