Geoff Stirling JR, or Geoffrey Shyam Stirling, was born on August 25th, 1979 at the Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, California. His middle name, Shyam, is a Sanskrit word chosen by a late devout meditation instructor of India's guru tradition named Swami Shyam (1924-2017). Geoff's father, known as Scott Stirling, is the Chief Executive Officer for the Newfoundland Broadcasting Co. Ltd., which was founded by the late Geoffrey William Stirling (1921-2013). Geoff JR's older step brother, Jesse Stirling, hosts a program for the Newfoundland Television Network called "Meetings with Remarkable People." Geoff JR assists Jesse in the production of the program through "Shyam Bird Productions." [1]. Geoff Stirling JR was an avid sportsman and skateboarder in his youth and was scouted by a modeling agency in La Jolla, California when he was sixteen years old. He graduated, with honors, in Communication Studies from the University of San Diego in 2004. He has been employed as an international male model between the ages of 16 and 31 years old. During this time in his life, his employment in this profession granted him access to travel to Milan Italy, Hong Kong, China and both coasts of the United States of America. Geoff Stirling Jr. has also been employed as an actor [2], a stuntman, a personal trainer, a karate instructor for expert village [3], a sailing and windsurfing instructor, a salesman, a baker and a landscaper.
