GetGo App

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

GetGo is a mobile commerce application that turns iOS/Android running devices into a barcode scanner with full access to every participating stores' product inventory.[1] GetGo was founded in 2016 at University of California, Berkeley.[2]

For local businesses, with GetGo users can use mobile device camera to scan barcodes and create a virtual shopping cart in real time. When finished shopping, users simply check out and pay in the GetGo app without needing to wait for a cashier or clerk. Through GetGo, users can browse menus, place orders, pay for the meal and schedule the pickup or have it delivered.

For restaurants and independent stores, vendors will be able to generate barcodes for their own products. Consumers will be able to view menus and product catalogues at each location, and like major retail stores scan their own purchases as they buy. GetGo links to users bank accounts so that users pay instantly at checkout.
