Ghost Ship Harbor

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Ghost Ship Harbor is a Haunted Attraction located just South of Boston in Quincy Massachusetts. Ghost Ship Harbor was launched in 2016 as a partnership with Frightdome out of Las Vegas. The origins of Ghost Ship Harbor started 4 years before that as a concept called Fright Island. Through the years starting in 2012 the owner, Matthew DiRoberto, tried to get the event permitted in Boston coming close to having the event at Castle Island in South Boston. Fright Island received approval from the DCR in 2016 to have the event at Castle Island only to be overturned by the local community not wanting the event to happen there.[1] Matt found another partner soon after in the USS SalemUSS Salem (CA-139). Having run their own Halloween event for many years they were interested in taking a step back to have another production company run the event. Ghost Ship Harbor was born from this partnership. In 2017 Fodor's Travel magazine ranked it the #1 scariest haunted attraction in Massachusetts.[2] It's the only haunted attraction in the country taking place on a Navy Destroyer.
