Giraffigator

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Giraffigator is a legendary creature appearing in folklore throughout Idaho. The myth originally grew from stories told at campgrounds with pit toilets in the Sawtooth Mountains, but has also been referenced in Kampgrounds of America (KOA) stories and publications[1]. The legend suggests that a creature resembling an alligator with a long neck will bite at a camper while they use a pit toilet at night. The legend of the Giraffigator is most likely a version of the sewer alligator myth that has been adapted to America's western landscape. The KOA version of the story references a hairy creature that stalks and abducts a child who uses a pit toilet at night.
