Girls Come First (Film 1975)
Girls Come First is a British made sex-comedy film, of 45 mins run-time directed by Meubles Croisette and Roger Simons. It is usually described as a follow-on to "The Over Amorous Artist" (1974).
The plot centres on the sexual adventures of the artist, Alan Street, and his model-cum-girlfriend, and a publisher of a top shelf magazine. [1]
To boost his finances, Alan takes up an offer from the publisher, among other things, to paint the 'hostesses' (topless dancers) at his club and magazine HQ in Soho. This creates some tensions with his girlfriend Sue who attempts to reign him in at every opportunity, culminating in a protest at the club. Alan soon ends up also working as barman at the club, and bedding nearly all the hostesses at some point, in a variety of well-known locations. The export versions of the films were considerably more hardcore than the shorter versions released in Britain.
