Glemseck 101 is a motorcycle rally in Germany. It is supposed to be one of the biggest motorcycle rallyes in Europe.[1] It is an annual event and usually takes place the first weekend of September. It is located around the Hotel Glemseck at the Solitude racetrack in Leonberg, close to Stuttgart, Germany. It is organized by the Hotel Glemseck and the city of Leonberg.

It first took place in 2005. Since then it has been established and became a well known motorcycle festival with visitors and media coverage from all over the world[2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], [9] It describes itself as "The European motorcycle festival", "The Glemseck 101 is a European »motorcycle happening« taking place in Germany with tens of thousands of visitors, guests and participants who represent the full range of the motorcycle scene and who live the »Spirit of the 101« for three entire days".[10]. It is called "major bike festival"[11] or as "one of the hottest festivals in Germany for boxer enthusiasts and lovers of old motorcycles" [12]. The German magazine "Spiegel" calls it the "the biggest custom bike event of Germany"[13] and in the British magazine Motorcycle News it is referred to as "– the festival that’s leading the stripped-back café racer revolution"[14]. Especially the drag races have drawn the attention of the big motorcycle brands, which send their best bikes and bikers to the race (e.g. Triumph, BMW, Yamaha, Suzuki).
