Gobindpura Phagwara

Mohalla Gobindpura is an old mohalla in Phagwara Tehsil of Kapurthala district of Punjab state. The mohalla has been named after the saint Sant Baba Gobind Das ji Udasi. A very big Gurdwara exists in this mohalla of Sant Baba Gobind Das ji Udasi. The saint was a wandrer saint and settled here in this area a long time back. He preached Gurbani among his followers and instructed them to follow the path towards God.The mohalla is about 150 meters form Phagwara railway station and about 1.5 km from Phagwara Bus Stand.This mohalla is now under municipal corporation.
