Gorilla Socks
Gorilla Socks is a New York socks and underwear retailer. The company works with non profit organizations to support critically endangered species[1]
The company was founded in 2016, their socks support local communities in Africa, fight poachers and educate scientists on conservation challenges.[2] Their socks are made from viscose from bamboo [3]
They are partners of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund to whom they donate 10% of all their proceeds, supporting critically endangered mountain gorillas[4] Recently they have partnered with the Association of Zoos and Aquarium, [5] helping support the AZA SAFE species: African Lion, African Penguin, African Vultures. American Ref Wolf, Asian Elephant, Atlantic Acropora Corals, Black-footed Ferret, Black Rhinoceros, Cheetah, Eastern Indigo Snake, Giraffe, Orangutan, Radiated Tortoise, Sea Turtle, Shark & Rays, Western Pond Turtle, Whooping Crane and Vaquita [6]
