Grasshopper Jungle is an upcoming comedy film based on the 2014 book of the same name by Andrew A. Smith. The film will be directed by Edgar Wright from a script by Scott Rosenberg and star Anya Taylor-Joy.

Sony Pictures was in the development stage of creating a film adaptation to the novel and the release for the film has not been announced. Sony has hired Edgar Wright as the director and Scott Rosenberg as a screenwriter. They have also brought in Nira Park and Matt Tolmach to help Rosenberg in producing the film. On April 12, 2017, New Regency was in talks to pick up the project. In February 2019, Wright teased about working with Anya Taylor-Joy on another project, outside of Last Night in Soho, referring to Grasshopper Jungle.
