Gunmanship Gunmanship is the skill of handling a firearm in a martial method, such as self defense as opposed to target shooting. Gunmanship uses technique/adaptive mindset over rigid rule sets or forms for better firearm handling in any situation.
Examples of Gunmanship technique are : trigger reset and holster drawing from different positions.
Example of adaptive mindset : muzzle control is situationally relevant. A firearm may need to be up or down depending on the situation.
