Gustavo Gabriel Dolfino

Gustavo G. Dolfino (Born 27 February 1967) is an Amercan^[1] investment banker, private equity and global financial markets professional, as well as a serial entrepreneur and CEO.^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5] He is the founder and CEO of myKlovr,^[6] a media division of Student Global, LLC. (which he also founded). Other Companies founded and sold by Mr. Dolfino include, CancerFrontiers Inc., WhiteRock Capital, Inc., The WhiteRock Group, LLC and WhiteRock Capital Partners,Inc.^[7]^[8]^[9]^[10] He has held senior leadership positions at a number of prominent Wall Street firms, including, but not limited to, UBS, Smith Barney, and JE Capital.^[11]

Personal Life and Education[edit]

Dolfino is a Uruguayan born American.^[12] He moved to the US to attend college and graduate school.^[13] Dolfino obtained a Bachelor of Business administration degree from The George Washington University where he majored in International Business. Later, he attended Thunderbird – The American Graduate School of International Management - where he obtained a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in International Management.^[14]^[15]

He is fluent in English and Spanish and conversational in French, Italian and Portuguese.^[16]

Career[edit]

Gustavo G. Dolfino started at Wall Street in 1991.^[17]^[18] He worked as a Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at JE Capital, Inc., an elite New York-based investment banking boutique. During his time at JE Capital, he repeatedly outperformed staple Wall Street firms in originating and executing a wide variety of global mandates.^[19]

Subsequently Dolfino founded Cancer Frontiers Inc., an Internet-based B2B provider of oncology drugs. The firm was successfully acquired by a major pharmaceutical company. Dolfino subsequently donated, in his mothers name, 100% of the proceeds of the multi-million dollar sale to a charity focusing on cancer research.

Prior roles included working for Smith Barney Inc. as the Head of Debt Capital Markets-Emerging Markets. He is widely credited for earning the company millions of dollars on a recurring basis.

In a different capacity, Dolfino was the Head of Sales for UBS International – The Global Private Wealth Management Group of UBSs broker dealer resulting from the merger of UBS-Paine Webber.^[20]

Dolfino was also Senior Managing Director at Accretive Solutions – a global consulting firm.^[21]^[22]^[23]^[24]^[25]

Thereafter, Dolfino founded WhiteRock Capital, Inc. an offshore hedge fund with over 3 billion in assets under management, The WhiteRock Group, LLC, a global Financial Services Executive Search firm and WhiteRock Capital Partners, Inc., a mergers and acquisitions investment banking boutique.^[26]^[27]^[28]^[29]^[30]^[31] The holding company which owned the 3 mentioned firms was successfully sold in 2015 to a Taiwanese family office belonging to Wang Change Fu for over 35 million dollars in cash.

True to his serial entrepreneurial roots, Dolfino went on to start yet another firm, - Student Global, LLC - which operates under the business name myKlovr. The Company is an AI-based virtual platform for counseling college-bound students.^[32]^[33] As CEO of the firm, Dolfino has been responsible for the company's meteoric rise in the educational financial markets and technology markets.^[32]^[34]
