Hamid Ghanadan

Hamid Ghanadan is the author of two books, Persuading Scientists[1] (2012) and Catalytic Experiences[2] (2016). He is also a strategist, writer, speaker and founder of The Linus Group...[3]. In 2014, Hamid was a speaker at TEDx in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he shared a speech on Persuading the Scientific Mind[4]

In 2017, Hamid was the recipient of the first-ever recognition award for lifetime achievement and service to the Life Science Industry by the ACP-LS[5].

Career[edit]

Hamid began his career as a faculty researcher in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at Oregon State University, where he studied the role of micronutrients in plants, as well as the elucidation of chemical structures of natural substitutes for food dyes. His work was published in Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry[6].

With the rise of the internet, Hamid became increasingly interested in the application of communications technologies within science. Hamid published an article in Science Magazine, titled Making Multimedia[7].
