Hamilton Morris (Actor)

Hamilton Morris is a Warlpiri man from Yuendumu, about 300 kilometres north-west of Alice Springs.[1]

Career[edit]

Morris got his break on 8MMM, the ABC television series about a remote community radio station[1]. His most notable work is his portrayal of Aboriginal stockman Sam Kelly in Warrick Thornton's 2017 film Sweet Country[2].

In 2011 Morris won an Acting & Drama Award as part of the 13th National Remote Indigenous Media Festival Awards[3].
