History Founded in 1993 by Qiu Jianping, Great Star Industrial Co. Ltd is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. [3] In 2011, Great Star acquired Hangcha Group Co.,Ltd, a well-known forklift truck manufacture in China[4]. In 2014, Great Star became the first major shareholder of Zhejiang Guozi Robot, a famous mobile robot supplier. In 2015, Great Star took over Huada Kejie Opto-Electro Instrument Co.,Ltd, which owns advanced technology in laser measuring and intelligent control. In 2016, Great Star acquired the Pony and Jorgensen brands, which are American brands with a history of more than 115 years. [5][6][7] In 2017, Great Star acquired Arrow Fastener Co., LLC, a famous American manufacturer specializing in fields of electric staple and nail guns, glue and rivet tools.
