Hard Livings is a 2021 documentary film directed by South African writer and filmmaker Jason Staggie.[1] [2]The film premiered at the Durban International Film Festival[3][4][5][6][7] and revolves around the filmmaker's search for reasons why his uncles and father founded and were involved in the notorious South African street gang, the Hard Livings, during South Africa's Apartheid years.[8]
