Harry Rabin (born May 12, 1954) is a musician, recording engineer and an American Filmmaker, Director, Producer and known for his many technical contributions to the world of natural history filmmaking. From modifying cameras and support gear to innovating underwater film gear to building his production companies own remote operating underwater vehicle. Rabin continues to create new and unique methods for the capture of never seen before footage and works with many companies and non-profits to improve their products for the use of filmmakers both professional and amateur.

Career[edit]

Rabin formed On the Wave Productions and SeaMusic Recording Studios in 1994. In the field of music he has worked with many mainstream artists including Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, David Crosby recording music and producing records since 1988. In the world of film, his cinematic work can be seen in documentary, feature and Indy films; on national news outlets like ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN, and on many of the shows aired by both cable and broadcast networks such as National Geographic, Discovery Channel, PBS, Weather Channel and more. Shows like Into the Shark Zone, Shark Week, Witness Disaster, Dateline, Good Morning America and so many more.
