Heart to Heart Counseling Center
Heart to Heart Counseling Center is a mental health and addiction treatment center located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States.[1]

Heart to Heart Counseling Center was founded in 1995 by Dr. Douglas Weiss, a licensed psychologist. Dr. Weiss developed original research around relational addictions like "intimacy anorexia" - a term which Dr. Weiss created to define a lack of intimacy in relationships.[2] Heart to Heart Counseling Center was one of the first counseling practices in the United States to specifically address sexual addiction, intimacy anorexia, and partners of addicts.[3] The center continues to provide specialized counseling intensives for sexual anorexia, intimacy anorexia, sex addiction, and partners of addicts.[4] Dr. Weiss was the first psychologist to address the connection between sex addicts and their partners or spouses.[5]
