Operations[edit]

Hearts & Science was founded in 2016 by Omnicom Media Group as its third media agency network. The company provides media planning and buying to clients, as well as shopper marketing and content activation.[1] The company also provides both advertising support and consulting services.[2] They provide independent services as well as tandem services with their parent company.[3]

The UK branch of the company has about 85 employees and had £100m in billings in 2020.[4] The US branch represented the two largest media clients in the United States—AT&T and Procter & Gamble—which they landed within the first year of founding.[5] Over its first year, it acquired more accounts than any other US advertising company.[6] Combined, they accounted for $5 billion in annual billing. By 2017, they employed a staff of 800.[5] In 2018, Hearts & Science received the consolidated US media business of Time Warner.[7] Examples of other clients include Amgen[8] and Cox Automotive (publisher of Kelley Blue Book and Autotrader). [9]

The founder and first CEO of the firm was Scott Hagedorn.[10] Since that time, Ralph Pardo has served as the CEO of Hearts & Science. [11]
