Helal Adham Gamil Helal (Helal Jr.) (From Cairo, born 19 December 1995) is an Egyptian boxing champion[6] and professional mixed martial artist[7]. He is a former EFC Muay Thai Champion[8] (2011), MMA Bantamweight Champion [9](2012) and TRFC Light Welterweight Champion (2018)[10]. At the moment, he lives in Malaysia. Moreover, he is the founder of BXGLAB[11][12] clothing apparel for boxing.

His Career started quite early; he was only 12 years old when he first started kickboxing in 2007[13]. Then he and continued it for another 3 years. After that he switched to mixed martial arts when it was introduced for Egypt in 2010. Together with his cousin Ali Younis, they were able to bring on a bigger scale to the people of Cairo. They started joining some underground fights in Cairo until Egyptian Fighting ,Championship (EFC) appeared in Egypt and decided to take the game to the next level and continue professionally. According to the sources Ali Younis brought Helal Jr. in MMA as he too was an MMA fighter[2]. His cousin's influence has made him strong throughout his life as it brought him to understand and appreciate the beauty of martial arts. Ever since, he took to underground fights he has never looked back.Then he decided to continue with promoting the education aspect of physical training across Asia.

In 2015, Helal Jr. moved to the Bristol, United Kingdom to follow a degree programme in product designing[14] and also to enhance his skills in mixed martial arts by joining Impact Gym, Bristol. In an unexpected turn of events, his mentor, his beloved brother and best friend met with an accident and passed away. Because of helal's cousins's sudden death, it further cemented his desire to bring martial arts into the world and he has been so much inspired by his cousin and still uses his cousin as a motivational factor for his accomplishments.

After recovering from the loss, Helal Jr. diverted his plans to migrate to Malaysia in order to complete his studies and now he participates in Asian fighting championship games and represents his home country, Egypt as a real patriot.

Early Life[edit]

Helal Adham Gamil Helal was born in Cairo,Egypt on 19 December 1995, the son of Adham Helal and Rania Helal. He attended to Lycee Farancais Du Caire College and went to University of West of England to study Product Design Engineering (2015 batch). Moreover, Helal Jr. attended Asia Pacific University for further studies and graduated in 2019.

His cousin, Ali Younis (mentor, best friend and training partner) guided him to start martial arts at the age of 14 and they started training kick boxing in Cairo, Egypt and then followed mixed martial arts. Ali Younis passed away in 2016 in Dubai in a motorcycle accident and although their dream was to being UFC champions, now Helal Jr. is willing to achieve that dream himself.

Business Ventures and Endorsements[edit]

Helal Jr. started his owned business, BXGLAB[15] in July 2019 when his ankle was injured in a training and as a result, he had to stay at home. After 01 month he could barely walk. Then he came up with the idea of making a boxing equipment manufacturing company that provides the best equipment /apparels in the fighting industry. He aims to build a reliable company  www.bxglab.com and make it the number 1 boxing apparel in Malaysia[13]. Not only in Malaysia, Helal Jr.’s ambition is to upgrade the BXGLAB to one of the top brands[16] in Asia.

Personal Life[edit]

Helal Jr. has only one sister named Amina Helal. On 22 February 2020 he married Nour Rahman

He can speak 03 languages i.e. Arabic, French and English. Hiking, sketching, listening to music and car racing are his leisure time activities.

Also,he has excelled in video editing, product designing and cooking.

Helal Jr's religion is Islam.
