Holly Lalena Day,[1] is a Minnesota nonfiction writer, fiction writer, poet, editor who has been a published poet since she was 13 and a Huntington Beach, CA skateboard punk and high school student. Her work ranges from a long history of poetry chap books to a pop singer's biography, Shakira to the best selling "Dummies Guide to Music Theory" and a series of Minnesota history books co-authored with her husband, Sherman Wick.
