Hugh (Ears) Williams

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Hugh "Ears" Williams is the current captain of the North Hobart Football Club and ex player of the Sottsdale Football club. Hugh has currently served 6 years as captain and is very much the heart and soul of the North Hobart Football Club, Williams plays a crucial role as a swing Defender that plays loose in defense and very rarely mans up on opposition forwards.

Before moving to Hobart for his football, Hugh was a prominent potato farmer in Scottsdale on his family farm. Hugh made his debut for the Scottsdale football club at 16, which is quite young for senior Football. Hugh is known throughout Tasmania as "Ears" due to his large ears, this nickname was given to him by the senior players of North Hobart when he first arrived at the club, he has embraced it.
