Hurt as a Shadow is the debut studio album by the Swedish Thrash metal band Pagandom released on September 16, 2016, it is also their only album with guitarist Anders Björler. Pagandom formed in 1987, which was 29 years before this album was released, but they split up in 1996, but Pagandom did release 3 demos such as "Instead of watching Your Funeral, I watch You Live" (1989), Hear Your naked skin say Ashes to Ashes (1990), and Demo 1992 (1992). But 2 years before they split up, they covered Metallica's Battery on Metal Militia – A Tribute to Metallica.
