IIMK Live
LIVE - Laboratory for Innovation, Venturing and Entrepreneurship is a Business Incubator and Entrepreneurship development centre of IIM Kozhikode set up with the support of Department of Science and technology, Government of India.Established in june 2016.
Programs[edit]
IIMK has started an incubator and entrepreneurship development cell in the name of LIVE with the aim to incubate startups in 2016.LIVE has offered admission to 12 startups.[1] out of 100 odd applicants in its first ever job creation programme in which 5 were funded by IIMK alumni[2].Department of Science and Technology (DST) has sanctioned a grant of Rs 3 crore to Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) for IIMK LIVE in May 2017.IIMK has made available required space and facilities on campus and is developing a series of programmes and products that would ensure long-term sustainability of LIVE, according to a release issued by the institute. As a government recognized on-campus incubator, DST would continue supporting it in various ways including it acting as an important element of its seed support system. Applications for the incubation programme are invited round the year and enrolments are expected to take place every six months. Under the programme, start-ups ready with the proof of concept, work with mentors to develop market strategy, build team and prepare themselves for funding.

The Executive director of LIVE is Dr Keyoor Purani.Later LIVE has brought on Hari Menon(Co founder and CEO of Bigbasket) and TC Meenakshisundaram(founder and managing director of IDG ventures) to their board of governors[3].
Start-O-Sphere[edit]
Start-O-Sphere is a National Entrepreneurship summit hosted by IIMK LIVE on jan 28th 2018. the main aim of Start-O-Sphere is to bring together new age entrepreneurs, venture capitalists,angel investors and all those passionate about the management, to a common ground.The events arranged in Start-O-Sphere were,Startup fair,Speaker Series,Panel discussion and the millionaire pitch.More than 10 speakers,15 investors,30 startups and 500 enthusiasts has participated in Start-O-Sphere[4]
