In blog, each plant species were recorded in separate pages having unique URL. QR code for each plant species is generated by linking the specific URL through online software. Android App was developed by using Java as the programming language and XML as the database. QR code for each specific plant developed was stick along with the plant label. So a person (Foreign Tourist or Domestic Tourist) coming to Kanakakkunnu Palace can scan the QR code present in the label of each plant, using their QR code scanner through their smart phones. The QR code translate to the specific URL of website concerned with the Flora of Kanakakkunnu Palace, where the person can easily access the complete data of that plant which includes its Photos, Uses, Flowering period, Distribution, Nativity and botanical characters; because, it is not possible to provide all the details in the label.
