History[edit]

In 2007, four friends: Grzegorz, Tomek, Marcin and Andrzej, who managed teams of programmers in Wirtualna Polska, came up with the idea of making a conference other than the classical academic conferences that were then dominating. A conference gathering people interested in programming and online technologies. A conference in which specialists, practitioners in the field of programming and Internet technologies share their knowledge with all who want to hear it - infoShare.

From the very beginning, as soon as the infoShare concept appeared, the main idea was to create a highly specialized event, rich in substantive lectures, meetings with specialists and networking. A high-quality event that provides value to all participants. And that is kept up to today.

The substantive concept itself has evolved over the years. Due to founders’ background and previous experience, digital marketing and new media threads have appeared almost at the beginning from infoShare. IT and digital marketing technologies are essential elements of almost every startup. Hence the subject, first a bit shy, and now as one of the most important pillars, guests at the conference. And startups which are an innovation sought after by the largest companies. Therefore, all these topics are present at the conference, combining one common denominator: the passion for technology, the innovations that is expressed in infoShare’s mission Grow With Tech.[4]

Attendees[edit]

The common denominator for all participants is the hunger for knowledge and inspiration. infoShare tries to reach all those who are close to the topic of new technologies but from a variety of perspectives. Therefore, every year agenda of the conference is based on the needs of software developers, startuppers, marketers, investors and managers. It remains unchanged.
