Ingeborg Gruenwald[1] (* May 21, 2001 in Hamburg) is an Austrian track-and-field athlete, specializing in long-jump.

Athletics career[edit]

Ingeborg Gruenwald (Grünwald in German) achieved her first international successes in 2017 when she won the gold medal at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Győr, Hungary, with a distance of 6.23 m. The following year, she finished eleventh at the 2018 European Athletics U18 Championships with 5.98 m and competed at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires in the autumn, where she won the bronze medal. In 2019, she finished fifth at the 2019 European Athletics U20 Championships in Borås, Sweden, with 6.21 m. The same year in the autumn, she began studying at the University of Texas at San Antonio[2].

In 2021, she finished seventh at the 2021 European Athletics U23 Championships in Tallinn with 6.38m.

In 2019 and 2021, Gruenwald was Austrian champion in long-jump.
