International Journal of Advances in Intelligent Informatics

On February 14, 2015, Andri Pranolo initiated a journal called International Journal of Advances in Intelligent Informatics (IJAIN[1]). It was then followed by the issue of an ISSN application letter by the Dean Faculty of Industrial Engineering of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Kartika Firdausy, to Indonesian Institute of Science. In response to the proposal, IJAIN got ISSN number (2442-6571)[2], was issued [by Indonesian Institute of Science, Decree No. 0005.070/JI.3.2/SK.ISSN/2015.03 - 27 March 2015, for its Vol. 1, No. 1 . Three days after, IJAIN published the first edition online at http://ijain.org.
Since June 30, 2016, IJAIN has been indexed in Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), an online directory that indexes and provides access to quality open access, peer-reviewed journals. It is eligible to display the green tick after meet all new acceptance criteria of DOAJ. In the same year, IJAIN applied for online ISSN number. It was granted by Indonesian Institute of Science, as stated in Decree No. 0005.25483161/JI.3.1/SK.ISSN/2016.11 - 29 November 2016. Thenceforth, the ISSN number is 2548-3161 [3].
In 2017, IJAIN has updated its editorial board by adding the number of its board editors, copy editors, proofreaders and layout editors. The new members are come from various countries out of Indonesia such as Vietnam, Poland, Republic of Korea, Australia, Malaysia, Ukraine, and India. This policy might enhance the journal services, such as reducing the article processing time, and improving the quality of article review
