Princess Irine Bagration-Gruzinsky of Georgia (Georgian: ბატონიშვილი ირინე ბაგრატიონი-გრუზინსკი, საქართველოს პრინცესა) (born 4 September 2003[1]) is a Royal Princess of the Bagrationi-Gruzinsky branch of the Bagrationi dynasty of Georgia.
Biography[edit]
Princess Irine is the eldest daughter of the hereditary Princess Ana Bagration-Gruzinsky and a grandchild of Crown Prince Nugzar Bagration-Gruzinsky of Georgia. Princess Irine was born through the marriage of Princess Anna of Georgia with the Architect Grigol Malania, who later was granted the title of Prince from his father-in-law. Princess Irine has a younger sister, Princess Mariam (b. 2007) and then brother Prince Giorgi (b. 2011)[2].
Princess Irine is currently studying at the Iakob Gogebashvili School in Kiketi, which is located in the region of Kiketi.
According to the Georgian Dynastic Law of "Zedsidzeoba" the children of the hereditary Princess shall inherit the Royal prerogatives and titles through their mother. Therefore, Princess Irine is considered to be a Royal Princess with hereditary rights following her mother[3][4]
