Islamic Music and Associated Nominees (IMAN) award is an accolade established to reward the outstanding achievements of Islamic and non-Islamic musicians in the Music industry. It is an annual ceremony given to the best artist in a particular category. The award was first awarded in 2016.

2016 Ceremony[edit | edit source]

The 2016 IMAN award ceremony was held in Lagos on Sunday, 22 May 2016 at Quadosh Place, Beside Balmora, Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun-Ikeja, Lagos, with most of the attendees ensuring that their outfits had a touch of white as the colour code for the awards demanded. Some even donned all-white attires to make their appearance 100% compliant.[1][2][3]

2017 Ceremony[edit | edit source]

A theme Opening The Hall of Fame was set for the 2017 edition of the awards, it was constituted a basis to identify, select and celebrate everyone who have contributed their quota in different ways, to the growth of Islamic Music amidst other genre of Music. [4]. The 2017 ceremony which is The second edition was held at the White House Hotel Multipurpose Hall, Toyin street, Ikeja, Lagos. It was hosted by Musiliu Sanni alias Mr. Bebe or Bebe Musiliu.
