Isuzu UTE Australia Pty Ltd (IUA), known by its trading name Isuzu UTE, is a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation,[1] which is based in Japan. Isuzu UTE markets, advertises, distributes and performs the business operations for Isuzu D-MAX and MU-X product lines in Australia based from their head office in Brisbane, Queensland.
Established in February 2008, Isuzu UTE started trading in Australia in October 2008 initially with one product line – the Isuzu D-MAX ute.[2][3][4] In December 2013, the Isuzu MU-X 7 seat SUV was launched in the Australian market.[5][6]
