Ivan Golubic is a Croatian inventor,.[1] entrepreneur, and founder of the Croatian Information technology company Mobile Vehicle Technology (2016). Golubic started at really young age of 15 with first innovative products like Electronics lab research equipment and smart electric vehicle [2]. Golubic participaded the biggest conference for education in Croatia "Bolje obrazovanje, bolja Hrvatska" as motivational speaker[3] in 2017. Golubic is the creator of Grunner X, the World's first smart electric bike[4] [5].

Early beginnings[edit]

Golubic was born in Zagreb in 1996. He was living in Pisarovina, Croatia . Ivan's first invention was the "Gmobile", an electric autonomous vehicle used as research platform during middle school - Technical school of Ruđer Bošković in Zagreb.[6] Ivan attended Polytechnic of Zagreb. He obtained a Bachelor degree in Mechatronics Engineering in 2017[7].

Few days after Gmobile public presentation in Croatia, there was one of the biggest innovations event, iENA in Nürnberg, Ivan has started with development of new electronic modules for Gmobile electric vehicle. There were only three days to prepare documentation and organise every detail. On the exhibition in Nürnberg The Gmobile was awarded with Bronze plaque[8].

Mobile Vehicle Technology[edit]

In 2016, Golubic founded the Mobile Vehicle Technology IoT and automotive company Pisarovina[9] The Grunner X entered the Middle East market by partnering with Arabco Smart Technology from Dubai.[9]

iENA Nürnberg 2017 was the first place where Grunner X (production version) is presented. Mobile Vehicle Technology was awarded with special prize for “Best new product”[10].

With project FLOW-traffic system, Golubic and his team entered Startup Factory Zagreb and became one of the winners! They have have created an unprecedented way of controlling the traffic lights and optimizing the traffic[11].

IoTaaP[edit]

In 2018 Golubic presented IoTaaP a solution which shortens the process of developing new IoT products in any industry from two years to only two months[12].

Grunner Bikes[edit]

In 2018 Grunner bike was tested in Dubai, and Golubic with his company successfully entered the Middle East market[13]
