Jaan Nissar Lone
Jaan Nissar Lone (also known as ) Jan Nissar Lone born 5th October is an Indian kashmiri music director, composer , director and singer from Baramulla district of Indian administered union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Jaan is the first kashmiri who became Bollywood Music director in 2010.[1][2]

Early life[edit]
Jaan Nissar Lone in Baramulla district, was studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. He completed his 12th examination from the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education with science and moved to Government Degree College Baramulla where He done his further studies. In hope of becoming a musician, Jaan joined prominent classical Patiala gharana in Delhi and Trinity College London and learned Western and Classical music and became multi instrumentalist.[5][6]
Career[edit]
Jaan's career began with his music desire despite his family wished him as a MBBS doctor. He refused his family wishes and went Mumbai where played various roles in music industry. At first, Jaan worked in Bollywood as a singer and then Playback singer. In 2011, He worked at "Valley Strings Private Limited" where he acted as a music director. In 2012, He directed music for Shudra: The Rising movies. later, He performed music for TV serials and Albums like JD, Choo Le Aasman, 18.11 - A Code of Secrecy, and Ishq Ibadat[7]
