Jaideep (born on August 10, 1992) is an Indian professional kabaddi player. He usually plays in the Left Corner position but can also play as a Cover defender. He made a name for himself courtesy of his sturdy build and winning crucial tackles for his current team - Patna Pirates.[1]

Jaideep was born in Sonipat, Haryana and attended the Sanskar Kabaddi Academy. He graduated from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak[1]

Season 5[edit]
Jaideep made his debut in Season 5 of the VIVO Pro Kabaddi league as he was bought by Patna Pirates who realized the potential and the threat the youngster might pose to the opponents. Season 5 proved immensely successful for Jaideep as in 26 games, the youngster made 154 tackles earning 71 tackle points in the process. With 66 successful tackles, Jaideep’s tackle percentage of 46.1% made him one of the top performers of the season. He also had five super tackles and high 5s to his name by the end of the fifth season.[2]
Season 6[edit]
In the sixth season, Jaideep earned 58 tackle points with four high 5s and had two super tackles to his name and averaged 2.54 tackles per match.[2]
International
Jaideep won the gold medal in the 66th Men’s Senior National Kabaddi Championships in 2018 with the Services.[3]
