Jalukbari Police Division
Jalukbari Police Division is one of the police divisions of Guwahati City Police. It comprises two police stations - Jalukbari Police Station, which has three outposts - Jalukbari OP, Kamakhya OP and Gosala OP, and Bharalumukh Police Station, which doesn't have any outposts. All cases reported at the outposts must refer the cases to the parent police station for registration of First Information Report, as per sec 154 of CrPC.
The headquarters of the Jalukbari Police Division lie at the premises of Bharalumukh Police Station and the office is now a days known as the Office of Assistant Commissioner of Police, Jalukbari. The division is under the supervision of a Deputy Superintendent of Police ranked officer, as of now, is known as Assistant Commissioner of Police.
