James Hardy (born May 11th 1996) is an English footballer who plays as a winger for A.F.C. Fylde.
Career[edit | edit source]
Oldham Athletic James started his career at Oldham Athletic at 9 as an academy player. He was released by them at the age of 15 and was offered a trial with Manchester City.
Manchester City James signed for Manchester City after playing in trial games and impressing enough to earn a contract. Adam Sadler was the manager who gave him his chance and pointed out at the start of the season, "physicality is just one asset and if, like James, you have the vision, the technical skills and the engine, then when you do fill out physically you stand a much better chance of succeeding at the top level than someone who has relied solely on their build". James experienced being managed by Patrick Vieira and Jason Wilcox during his time playing for the Under 18's and Under 21's teams.
AFC Fylde James signed for AFC Fylde in October 2015 after impressing Dave Challinor. He has made 52 appearances for AFC Fylde in the National League, including appearances in the FA Cup.
