James Samuel Tozer (born 25 December 2002) is a former leader of the Durham Young Labour Party.[1] He gained notoriety within Durham for his work in the organisation of the greenpeace protests. Jams' political career began during his time at Durham Johnson where he sat as the 'wellbeing officer'[2]. James Tozer became known in the north east thanks to his musical talent being recognised as young pianist of the year in 2020. While at Sixth form James developed a love for the study and tutorage of chemistry taking on the role as tutor. He would then take this interest further in moving down the road to read chemistry at Trevelyan College Durham. His work in the field of organic chemistry has led to Tozer becoming a respected name in the north east for Chemistry.[3][not in citation given]
