Japan National Group of Mentally Disabled People

Japan National Group of Mentally Disabled People(JNGMDP) is a disability movement organization of people with psycosocial disability, which was established in 1974 and dissolved in Apr. 2018. It worked for peer advocation for persons with psycosocial disability and took many actions domestically and internationally. It was a member organization of World Network of Users and Survivors of Psychiatry (WNUSP). After the dissolution, it devided for 2 groups, ASPPD and the other one(the name is not determined on May 18, 2018). The 2 groups agreed that they will not use the name "Japan National Group of Mentally Disabled People(JNGMDP)" at the end of Mar. 2018. The former webpage of Japan National Group of Mentally Disabled People(JNGMDP) is remained as historical page.
