Born Jeremy Daggett on September 1st, Also known know as Jay9mm a musician born and raised in Augusta Georgia where Jay9 grew up on eastboudary in oak village than was renamed Lincoln square and now is east augusta commons which the bottom is known for drugs and violence growing up Jay9 grew up poor him
And his brother and sisters with hand me down clothes and shoes his mom was a single parent who struggled to raise 4 kids and make ends meet Jay9 also lived in Underwood projects, also known as unlv, which is another place know for drugs and violence in Augusta Georgia music became Jay9 outlet and a way for him to make a way out of the streets growing up Jay9 attended several of different highschool's Laney Josey back to Laney than glennhills and Richmond highschool where his interest was sports basketball and football and being in the band at Laney and Josey highschool due to his mom kept moving he ended up staying in almost every hood in Augusta that was knowed Jay9 always felt if he had a father figure he would be on TV playing football or basketball a father was that extra push he didn't have but he still didn't make that be a excuse he still tried to stay in school forced to fight everyday because people picked on his clothes and shoes in middle School at Murphy middle School by highschool Jay9 became popular traveling to different highschool's.

2002-2019
In 2002. He released a single just messing around that hit the radio called caught up in beef which got alot of positive feedback back by 2003 Jay9 featured on a album called gobal warning a young artist name lilco released under unlockdoors entertainment the album was letting the industry artist know they was on there way with hits after hits they just knew they would hit the game but a year later beef would come among the label unlockdoors entertainment and lilco known as lilco dapaper man now would end up leaving the label unlockdoors entertainment so that left Jay9 and other band members but at the time Jay9 was just a feature artist the label would just use him to get up on other artist albums because of his unique voice Jay9 always wanted a album out on his own but his cousin Revelation had different plans Jay9 and his child hood friend stebo came up with a group called gangsta boys a group that they made up living in the bottom but the two never released a album together only singles called set it off in 2002 and light up the torch in 2004 ,in 2005&2006 Jay9 discovered a R&B singer by the name of young Casanova which they teamed up and released a album called gutta Soul together which had several hits rainy night in Georgia, streets keep calling,life gets hard and shine on by Jay9 in 2006 Jay9 and Revelation and lilco teamed back up and hit the dirty awards in Atlanta Georgia this time Jay9 had a album he was featured on alot but still no solo songs so at the dirty awards alot of industry people and labels was interested in the gutta Soul album had plans for Jay9 and Casanova but at the time young Casanova was still in highschool so Jay9 would be at shows alone and couldn't perform none of there hit songs fustrated as Jay9 was than ask his cousin to produce him but his cousin still put him on the back burner of the label until one day everyone on the label was leaving and he decided to record Jay9 a solo album after Jay9 and Revelation kept bumping heads because of competition he gave Jay9 a chance and that's when Jay9 released Return of the fire which sold over 60,000 units on the streets alone from the time from of 2012 till 2017 pushing the same album none stop no digital marketing old fashion way out the trunk like master p and cash money did it and pastor Troy, Revelation had already made a mark on the streets promoting his music life of a solider in the beginning ,when Jay9 CD hit the streets he got alot of positive feedback and people wanted to hear more of the artist in 2008 Jay9 started his own record label called (money Rite Record's) which where he find a younger rapper named (kid junior)which released his first album called (Nickelodeon swagg) but the album was gutta and ready and the youngin had swagg and was very talented Jay9 told him when he first seen him god told me u are going to be a star the same young rapper Jay9 spoke positive into his life plays a large role in the music industry and goes by the name (blazerbarboza) which was doing video work for donk which is (Lil-boosie) cousin and which he also did video work for lil boosie as well during the boo pac dvd era time blazerbarboza still shares ways for Jay9 to get in the industry and plans to help return a favor the once young rapper that Jay9 produced is now a star in the industry on the rise,on money Rite Record's Jay9 also produced another rapper by the name of murder slim which now goes by (slimorachi),Jay9 ended recording his child hood friend (Stebo) which was like his brother and also homebass boys (Tru) and (big Rick) and lil TJ young Doggott a talented rapper that was from Apple valley another knowed area in Augusta ga knowed for voilence and drugs at the time Jay9 label was popping fast until one day Revelation his cousin came back around and called truths wanted to work again with Jay9 and grind the two linked back up and money Rite Record's was put on hold again........................................
Jay9 was trying to finish where he started at even tho at first before unlock doors entertainment Jay9 was about to be with gold fronts entertainment a label also that was in Augusta at the time was popping but one day Jay9 freestyled to a guy who was in a furniture store Jay9 worked at called Augusta home accessories just buying things Jay9 over heard him talking about music and Atlanta artist and studio time Jay9 immediately ask the guy how much for studio time the guy responded back who are you??Jay9 said I can rap the guy said let me hear what u got u got less than 10 minutes to rap I'm in a rush but after Jay9 rapped the guy was very interested matter of the fact he told Jay9 and his boy Stebo i will pay for you guys studio time and I got some people in Atlanta I won't to introduce you to Jay9 was happy the guy name was Reggie Gilchrist which a week later Jay9 and Stebo hit the studio was writing and getting ready to drop a album then a couple days went by Jay9 kept calling Reggie Gilchrist phone come to find out he had died from a heart attack so they never got a chance to work on a album this was way before unlockdoors entertainment days but Jay9 and Revelation would be a ultimate team in the industry but for some reason the two can't get along for some reason Revelation doesn't like Jay9 even tho they are real cousins and other band members tell Jay9 leave his label he hating on you,Jay9 still stayed in 2018 Jay9 released his last album under unlockdoors entertainment called (still blazing) the album was recorded in 2017 but wasn't released until November of 2018 the two fell out about that but Jay9 remained humble after meeting a new york body guard that was once rapper Curtis Jackson aka 50cent body guard at shows and brother of Jamal woolard who played as biggie smalls told Jay9 no matter who try to stop you nobody can take what god has for you the rapper Jay9 wasn't on Instagram until (father boo)told him to create him a Instagram profile and forget the videos his cousin had deleted, because during that time all Jay9 videos was deleted off the label page unlockdoors entertainment whichthe label is owned by his cousin Revelation on YouTube (fatherboo) told Jay9 no matter what anyone try to do to stop u nobody can stop what god intended for you to be ,now go be Great he said I believe you are going to make it to Jay9 today the rapper has the following albums out below but has other albums as well but they are not listed
