Jenna DeFalco (born 11 November 2002) is a USA Tennis player[1]
DeFalco has a career high WTA singles ranking of 620 in singles achieved on 07 March 2022. She also has a career ITF singles ranking of 91 achieved on 4th April 2022.[2]
Career[edit]
DeFalco has signed on with the LSU Women's Tennis programme, co-head coaches Julia and Michael Sell.
She was considered one of the top promising players of 2021 rising to as high as the No. 9 ranked recruit and maintained a spot in the Top 25 for the past four years.[3] She produced a 22-7 singles record playing on the WTA Tour in 2021 prior to enrolling at Louisiana State University.
DeFalco has been a success internationally in the ITF Pro Tournaments, finishing second and advancing to the semi-finals in two separate ITF 15ks in Tunisia in June.
Junior Career[edit]
In her ITF juniors career, she claimed seven singles titles and two double titles.[4]
She won three titles in 2018. The Monterrey San Agustin ITF Junior Cup beating Rut Galindo 6-4 6-0. The Monterrey County ITF Junior Cup FMT beating Elizabeth Stevens 6-2 6-2 and the Canadian Saville ITF U18 beating Allura Zamarripa 6-3 7-5. DeFalco won the 2018 doubles titles with Leena Bennetto 6-3 3-6 6-7 (10-12).
DeFalco won two titles in 2019. The J4 North Vancouver beating Danielle Tuhten 3-6 6-2 6-0 and the J3 Cancun beating Madison Sieg 6-2 2-6 6-4. In 2019 DeFalco won the J2 Montreal doubles title with Marina Stakusic 6-3 2-6 6-7 (6-10).
In 2020 she won two titles. The J3 San Jose beating Elise Wagle 7-5 6-4 and the J4 Tampico beating Daniella Ben-Abraham 6-7 (5-7) 6-2 6-2.
