John Coyne (Footballer)
John Coyne (born 29 December 1980 in Wigan, England) is a former footballer for Wigan Athletic and current Director of English Rugby League Club, Swinton Lions.[1]
Career[edit]
He began his career at Wigan Athletic, signing for the club in 1997 and playing under John Deehan, remaining at the club until 2000. Upon leaving Wigan Athletic John had spells with Clitheroe, Harrow Borough and Skelmersdale United. Since finishing his football career, John has worked for Venditan, a software agency in Manchester.[2]
Rugby League[edit]
It was announced in 2018 that John had joined the executive board of Swinton Lions Rugby League, joining Chairman Andy Mazey who took over the club in 2017.[3]
