John Newland (1717 – 1800) was an English professional cricketer who played in one known non-first-class match in 1744 for Slindon Cricket Club.[1] He made two known single wicket cricket appearances.[citation needed]
He was the middle brother of Richard and Adam Newland and an uncle of Richard Nyren.[1]
