John Pielli

John Robert Pielli (born October 12, 1979) is an American radio show host, writer, and podcaster. He has hosted the Passed Ball Show since 2011.[1]

Early Life[edit]

John was born on at St Peter's Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. He is the son of Nancy Jean (née Karmel), retired, and John Anthony Pielli, the Vice President of Railroad Construction Company. John's father is retired from Amtrak, after working there for over 40 years. The oldest of three children, John graduated from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ) in 2010.

Career[edit]

John started hosting the Passed Ball Show, a homemade podcast in October 2011. He has hosted well over 300 shows, including interviews with many known athletes. John's show includes insight about baseball and its current state, as well as many historical references from the history of baseball.

Around the time of the start of the Passed Ball Show, John launched his website which includes all of his previous shows, interviews, and his baseball blog called Bases Empty Blog. John has recorded interviews with over 500 current and former MLB players. His website includes pictures, predictions, and bets placed on sports games and over/ unders. The Passed Ball Show is available on iTunes and Google Play. In late 2017, he started a YouTube channel.

Personal Life[edit]

On April 20, 2007, John married Diana Thomas. They have two children, Alexis Gianna (born April 11, 2006) and Nolan Anthony (born January 6, 2016). They currently live in Toms River, NJ.
