Jonathon Fairbairn

Jonathon Fairbairn (born 10th January 1990 in Ashington, England) is a professional football coach and former professional football player.

Fairbairn played mostly as a central defender predominantly in the Scottish Professional Football League firstly with St Johnstone[1], then with Berwick Rangers[2]. He had a short spell with NSPL side Mississippi Storm[3] and also represented Scotland under u14s/15s.

During the last two seasons of his time with Berwick Rangers, as well as playing and captaining the first team, Fairbairn was instrumental in creating the clubs Football Academy system[4]. After successfully establishing the Academy in 2016, he became the Head Coach of the u18 side as well as coaching the clubs u20 squad in the SPFL Development League[5]. At the end of the 2017/18 season Fairbairn left Berwick Rangers to become the Head Coach of East of Scotland club Coldstream FC[6].
