Joseph Afen, an ethnic Nigerian Christian from Owan Local Government Area, Edo State, was born on 15 February 1992. He attended Engreg Schools from his elementary education till his high school days and studied Applied Physics (Electronics) at the University of Lagos, Lagos state.

Other activities[edit]
He later developed the RFID technology for the surveillance of pipeline structures in the oil industry which he sold to quite a number of oil firms. Further more, he has spread his business wings into agriculture. In January 2017, He set up a rice farm as well as a rice mill in Niger state, employing over 300 local farmers and millers.
